PHROG SQUADRON

Why the PHROG Squadron?

One of our squadron members found the following frogs during
a return trip to Vietnam. He found them on a tree that was growing through
the shell of a CH-46. Although the markings on the helicopter were worn
away, he believes that the CH-46 was one that belongs to HMM-262. These
muted frogs were found in the only tree at the old Quang Tri base. I have
decided to name them Quang Tree She (left) and Quang Tree He (right). They
will be on display at the next reunion, look for the Mason Jar.
